SystemOne seeks a new CEO to drive and manage all strategic and business aspects of our company. Successful candidates must demonstrate strong leadership experience, with a focus on leading growth, managing change, and driving a company from an early stage to growth.  Candidates should also possess a strong technical background, with a preference for engineering, science, or technology.  We’re looking for someone who is focused on growing the company and moving towards liquidity opportunities, possibly through acquisition or public offering. The goal is to drive the company’s development and guide it towards long-term success. Systemone specializes in software-based technology and diagnostic networking services for disease-mitigation programs and ministries of health in developing economies.

Management Responsibilities:

• Oversees the ongoing operations of all divisions in the company.

• Manages and directs the company toward its primary goals and objectives (see below).

• Oversees employment decisions at the executive level of the company.

• Leads a team of executives on major initiatives including acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, and large customer contracts

• Promotes communication and cooperation among divisions to create a spirit of unity in the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sets the strategic vision for the company.

• Engages with industry stakeholders to ensure appropriate messaging of a for-profit entity in the global health landscape.

• Presents regular reports on the status of the company's operations to the board of directors and to company staff.

• Oversees the organization's financial structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding to execute on the mission and goals.

• Reviews the financial results of all operations, comparing them with the company's objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance.

• Ensures the company's compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards.

• Serves as the company's representative to the board of directors, shareholders, employees, customers, governments, and the public.

• Leads fund-raising if the right opportunity materializes.

• Understanding of Software Development - SystemOne is at its heart a software company, though it operates in a landscape that better understands consulting.

• Understanding of consulting: we blend consulting and software, though we focus on software to achieve higher margins and, eventually, a higher multiple in an exit.

• Excellent managerial and financial skills and the ability to take leadership over any business operations area.

• Superlative communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate as a leader.

• Thorough understanding of management and financial practices in all areas and phases of business operations.

• Industry knowledge: Understanding the future of healthtech.

• Interest and experience in sales: the CEO should be able to come into sales conversations or meet with donors or implementing countries and instill confidence and trust while defending the company's business model and pricing.

• Interest in business model and ability to help set pricing structure and sustainable business model.

• Decision-making: must gather data quickly and be decisive about choosing solutions and directions.

• Leadership: Must help lead and energize the management team as well as the whole company.

• Strong negotiation skills: CEO will have to negotiate with customers, partners and donors.
