SystemOne is looking for a product owner who will be responsible for the overall success of our product line. You will be responsible for managing the product's lifecycle from development to product launch and bringing our company's vision and strategy to life. This position reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.

Required Qualifications 

• A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field

• A minimum of 5 years experience in product management or a related field

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

• Demonstrated mastery of Agile Product Management concepts (develop/maintain product roadmap, grooming backlog for the development teams, ensuring proper artifacting and communicating feedback to and from stakeholders)  

• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions

• High level of comfort with technology and its development

• Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills

• Excellent documentation skills along with in-depth knowledge of product strategy

• A track record of successfully making and keeping commitments

• Be sensitive to cultural nuances and diversity in interacting and dealing with colleagues and customers spanning multiple countries across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas

• Be flexible to operate remotely and across different time zones

• Experience in the healthcare field or SaaS products would be preferred
  
  

Product Owner Responsibilities   

• Obtain and understand customer feedback, and translate needs into product requirements

• Prioritize product backlog and maximize the value of the company’s development resources 

• Understand and facilitate discussions about customers and business requirements with the development team  

• Manage the product release schedule

• Accept or reject the development teams' completed work during sprints

• Present completed accomplishments to the Business Stakeholders Team at Sprint Demonstrations
